We are delighted to invite you to celebrate the publication of Professor Marlene Daut’s book Awakening the Ashes: An Intellectual History of the Haitian Revolution, published by The University of North Carolina Press.

Marlene Daut will discuss her latest work in conversation with Professor Kaiama L. Glover.

The event will be held on Tuesday, April 16, at 4pm, in the Humanities Quadrangle, Room 134, 320 York Street, and will be followed by a reception.
