Elizabeth Alexander honors MLK Day with stories of the black experience

In commemoration of the Martin Luther King Jr., holiday for the PBS Newshour, Elizabeth Alexander read from her work as a way to reflect on Dr. King: “I wanted to let us think about him in place and over time in hopes that that would give us a little bit more to chew on in thinking about what this day means,” she told the Newshour.
