Jordan Konell (‘15), an undergraduate senior major in African American Studies and Political Science, has won a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University. Jordan’s superb academic record, along with his outstanding community service leadership, will stead him well in his graduate studies at Oxford, where he plans to pursue a M.Phil in Comparative Social Policy. Currently, Jordan is completing his senior thesis under the direction of Crystal Feimster, Associate Professor in African American Studies, History and American Studies, on “Blacks and Jews on Columbia Avenue: The 1964 Philadelphia Riot and Intergroup Cooperation.”
