Host Nicholas Forster (‘17) interviews academics, activists, artists, and scholars from numerous disciplinary perspectives whose experience relates to African American studies. Examining their research as well as the processes behind their work, “The Lower Frequencies” amplifies stories not often told. Part oral history and part interview, this show reveals the life behind the scholarship and art, and the relationship between the “Ivory Tower” and communities outside of academia.
