“Icy Lake” is a new short documentary directed by Wills Glasspiegel (AMST/AFAM 2019). The documentary is centered around the re-discovery of a surreal electronic dance song from mid-90s New York. Wills says that the characters from the film (including legendary performer Kevin Aviance) might be of special interest to those thinking about dance, queer spaces, electronic music, subcultural lineages, vogue / ballroom history, and more.
