Erica James, Assistant Professor of Art History and African American Studies, will deliver a lecture at the gala opening of the exhibit, “Point of View: Contemporary African American Art from the Elliot & Kimberly Perry Collection,” at the Flint Institute of Arts (FIA) in Michigan, on Jan. 25 from 6- 9:30 p.m. The FIA will celebrate the opening of “Point of View” at its seventh annual Community Gala.

Erica James is editor of the art collection, Love & Responsibility: The Dawn Davies Collection (2012).
