With Distinguished Speakers:

Kelly Marie Ward is an Assistant Professor in the Gender & Women’sStudies and Sociology departments at the University of Wisconsin -Madison. Current projects include an ethnographic account of abortion as work and a healthcare practice, exploring how sexual and reproductive health clinics responded to COVID, and documenting people’s experiences with self-managed pregnancy termination.

Khiara M. Bridges is a professor of law at UC Berkeley School of Law. She has written many articles concerning race, class, reproductive
rights, and the intersection of the three. Her scholarship has appeared in the Harvard Law Review, Stanford Law Review, the Columbia Law Review, the California Law Review, the NYU Law Review, and theVirginia Law Review, among others.
