Emily Greenwood, Yale University professor and chair of the Classics Department, was recently honored for her pioneering work in expanding knowledge of how her discipline has been received throughout Africa and the Caribbean.
In October 2018, the Classical Association of Atlantic States held a panel that explored Greenwood’s scholarship including her highly regarded work, Afro-Greeks: Dialogues Between Anglophone Caribbean Literature and Classics in the Twentieth Century (2010).
