The Fault Lines of Race and Place: A Conversation with Elijah Anderson

Dr. Elijah Anderson, Yale’s Sterling Professor of Sociology and of African American Studies and winner of the 2021 Stockholm Prize for Criminology, was recently interviewed by Jelani Cobb, New Yorker writer, and dean of the Columbia Journalism School. The interview is entitled “The Fault Lines of Race and Place: A Conversation with Elijah Anderson.” It focuses on the evolution of Dr. Anderson’s “body of work” and his new ethnography, Black in White Space: the Enduring Impact of Color in Everyday Life.
